ABOUT
TWS Log was developed as AeroDev’s first product in its expanding product line. South African pilots were in dire need of an electronic logbook to keep track of their daily flights, and this prompted the creation of Time Well Spent. It soon became South Africa’s largest online electronic logbook, and its user base is still growing at record pace.
Created in 2016, Time Well Spent started out as a website designed for desktop browsers. In 2018, mobile browser support was added, which dramatically increased the uptake in the South African aviation market.
In 2021, a mobile application was added to the TWS Log solution, with apps available in both the Google Play and Apple App Stores. As of 2024, these apps are widely used by pilots in both the private and commercial aviation space.
In preparation for the expansion to other aviation products, AeroDev rebranded the Time Well Spent product to TWS Log in February of 2024.
KEY FEATURES
TWS Log is an electronic logbook that is cloud-based. This allows pilots to access their logbooks anytime, anywhere.
Pilots are able to print their logbooks in the correct format as required by the South African Civil Aviation Authority
When it’s time for licence renewal or adding a new rating, Logbook Summaries can be created at the click of a button. Career Summaries can also be created if required.
Keep track of the important dates related to your licence. TWS Log will send useful reminders so that you don’t miss your renewal dates.
Store your important and relevant documents on TWS Log so that you have access to them from anywhere. Our contract pilots flying outside the borders of South Africa find this feature particularly useful.
